Interlibrary Loan Book Blog Assignment
Due: Thu 9.13 at 12midnight
Objective: Familiarize students with the ease and pleasure of requesting books through the interlibrary loan service.
Instruction:
1.From the Phillips Library page select the begin discovery link and search for an item - any item (Books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, etc.)!
2. Request the item using the link on the left of the item view. Or just fill in the ILL form.
3.
When your item arrives, take a picture of you with it as proof of your
successful ILL. (Be certain to get the title and author or other
distinguishing features in the picture.
4. Upload your picture to a blog post on this blog including the following pertinent information:
Name:
Item title:
Author:
Publisher:
Date:
Note:
In the note please mention why you requested the item.
5.
Be prepared for the class to view the blog on Thursday 9.6 - note that
this is a time sensitive assignment - make your request early in case of
snags in the ILL process!

Note: So, I chose the first book of the Harry Potter series because I have never read them before. I am in love with all of the movies, so I thought I would give the books a shot. I also visited the Harry Potter park at Universal Studios last summer and it was awesome.
